This project involved the complete interior design of a newly built educational complex in Budapest, covering both school and kindergarten spaces. I joined the process from the earliest construction phase, allowing me to shape the atmosphere, functionality, and flow of the building as it came to life.
Spanning several hundred square meters, the project included classrooms, kindergarten rooms, learning hubs, community zones, corridors, teachers’ and principals’ offices, meeting rooms, and staff kitchens. Each area was designed to support modern educational spaces, combining safety, clarity, and functionality with a warm, child-friendly aesthetic.
Designing for age groups from kindergarten to high school invited a playful yet thoughtful approach. The interiors feature colorful, stimulating, and age-appropriate concepts, supporting creativity, movement, and focus. My own children contributed with honest feedback along the way, helping ensure that each space felt intuitive and inspiring for its young users.
Working closely with exceptional partners, we created numerous custom-built solutions and implemented up-to-date safety standards, resulting in durable, ergonomic, and joyful environments tailored to real educational needs.
The greatest reward was witnessing the children step into their new environment for the first time - their excitement and wide-eyed joy made this project truly unforgettable.
